London is one of the most international cities in the world. It is best known for it’s cultural diversity and fast pace. In 2013 London’s Heathrow Airport was the third busiest one in the world, and this year it was listed as the 6th internationally airport with the most passenger traffic.
In London Heathrow alone, there are more than 1280 air transport movements per day, operated by 82 airlines, taking 191,200 people to 180 different destinations.
It seems a lot- and it is- but what we really want to know is which of those 1280 connections are the cheapest to fly to?
Searching between British Airways, Easyjet and RyanAir we found that the Top Five Cheapest Countries to Fly to from London are….(drum roll please):
This comes as no surprise as the countries are neighbours: it would take you only 4.7 days to go from one capital to another plus the time to build a bridge between the two countries. From London to Dublin the price rates are around 57€. This is just the proof that the pot of gold under the rainbow, does in fact, exist.
For only 9 more euros you can take the east bound and ride the groovy train in Amsterdam. It’s the perfect weekend idea. In less than one hour your flight will touch down and your monthly finances will still be intact. Just remember to take some orange juice with you and beware of the brownies.
To enjoy the romantic country that is France you need only 67.7€ for the plane. That’s the same as 67.7 croissants would cost you in Paris. Without the chocolate filling of course. If you were hoping to surprise your other half with a spontaneous trip to France now it’s the time. Just book yourselves some airport parking with Airparks, drive to the airport and away you go! When you get to Paris ditch the airplane for the bateaux-mouches that take you along the river Seine.
It seems like that road trip throughout Italy is not that impossible after all. A connection between London and Italy (the cheapest city to flight to is Milan) will cost you around 69€. From Milan you can reach Venice by train and the tickets range from 9€ to 19€. You can easily visit other cities like Florence or Combo easily traveling by train. Although the flight price includes return, we cannot promise you you will want to come back.
Paying 74€ will get you to Brussels, Belgium in no time (1 hour and 15 minutes approximately). Then you can spend the rest of your money on high quality chocolate, the best beer in the world and fresh creamy mussels. And you won’t regret it.
